Meet Vibeke Thomsen, Director

Since Vibeke left her home country of Denmark 22 years ago, she has travelled the world with her husband and children. She has gained 15 years recruitment experience as both a Consultant and a Manager in Tokyo, London, Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Brisbane; recruiting in a range of industry sectors including: Executive Search & Selection, Accounting, Banking, Office Support, Mining and Heavy Industry.

In 1999, she established and managed her first “recruitment to recruitment” company in New Zealand which, over a period of 4 years, became synonymous with “recruitment to recruitment” in that country. Following the same successful formula Vibeke established Galaxy Recruitment in 2005 with the intention of providing an ethical and genuinely consultative service to the Australian recruitment industry.
